We are looking forward to welcoming new children to The Epiphany School in September 2019.
Key dates and information will be posted on this page.
Stay and Play
Invitations have been sent out to parents inviting them and the new pupil to ‘Stay and Play’ session which will take place in the Hall with our Reception Class Teachers.
Children with surnames beginning with:
A – D Friday, 21th June at 2:00pm – 2:45pm
E - H Thursday 4th July at 2:00pm – 2:45pm
I - P Friday 5th July at 2:00pm – 2:45pm
R - Z Friday 12th July at 2:00pm – 2:45pm
This will provide time for you to meet other parents and children, share games and toys and for the children to listen to a story with our Teaching Assistants. We are sorry it is not possible to extend the invitation to younger brothers and sisters, but please contact us if this means your child is unable to attend.
Friday 12th July at 6:15pm.
We will share details of the first few days at school and give you an outline of the year ahead. There will be a presentation by the Headteacher and Reception Teachers and an opportunity to meet other members of our school including ESFA (The Epiphany School Friends Association). You will be able to visit the classroom and ask any questions. An Admissions Pack which includes the name of your child’s teacher and their colour team will be available in the hall after this meeting.
We are also planning to visit each of you in your home and will put details of this in your Admissions Information Pack. We find this a really helpful link for children, parents and teachers, enabling us to get to know each other and see the children in their own home.
The children will start school in staggered entry by team colour, once home visits have been completed. This will be all day and the children will need a packed lunch from home or hot school meal ordered for this day.
Children in the:
Red and Yellow teams - Thursday 19th September.
Blue and Green teams - Friday 20th September.
All children in the Reception Class will then start full time - Monday 23th September.
